Hiring - FOH & Admin
TangleWood Nature Estate, located 14 km's outside Potchefstroom, North West, focuses on camping, self-catering accommodation, day visitors, and boat launching onto Boskop Dam. We also host informal self-catering functions and events.
TangleWood is looking for a trustyworthy single person who is passionate about hospitality to join our small team.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Driving License and own transport essential.

Matric, preferably with a Degree or Diploma in Hospitality

Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Must be able to work independently, sometimes under pressure, and as part of small multicultural team.

Professional and well groomed, with a stable work history and contactable references.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Requires minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in Guest House-Lodge-Camp Site in FOH/Reservations role.

Requires strong administrative skills and experience managing accommodation reservations.

Experience using Nightsbridge. SAGE Accounting an advantage.

Requires excellent client communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively deal with difficult situations, including guest feedback and complaints.

Experience managing inventory, stock control, bank recons.

IT Skills: MS Word and Excel (essential)

No Dependents - Non Smoker - Sober Habits.
FOH, ADMIN (&HOUSEKEEPING) ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Reservations/Bookings: Manage all aspects of Front of House, including client enquiries, reservations/bookings, answering calls and emails with professionalism and courtesy, assist with various administrative tasks.

Guest Relations: Ensure smooth client check-ins and check-outs, process payments including cash, provide excellent service, resolve guest issues in coordination with owners and HOD’s.

Financial Recons: Reconcile daily bank receipts and onsite purchases.

Stock Control: Manage inventory and stock orders for your assigned area of responsibility.

Housekeeping: Stand in for Housekeeping (as required)

Teaming: Maintain effective team relationships, promote teamwork and open and clear communication.

Social Media: Manage social media pages, create and schedule regular social media posts, respond to client enquiries and client feedback/reviews.
PACKAGE & WORKING HOURS
-
Salary: Between 7-11k. Dependent on experience. Discussed after interview.

Accommodation: Candidate can either Live In or Live Out. (If Living In: Staff have the option of moving into a shared 3 bedroomed unfurnished staff house, or into a single room open plan flat with kitchenette and bathroom.

Transport: Staff responsible for own transport to / from work.

45 hour working week, 5 days on and 2 off. Regular shifts required over weekends and public holidays.

Staff Uniform: Provided

Annual Leave: 21 Days

Meals: 1 staff meal per day when on duty
